Past me: "Okay, so this is where Edward will vaguely think about his history with Noriko and Adrian. This will add suspense, hinting at potential resentment towards Hope, and--"

More recent past me: "Wait wait wait. You mean that thing he's had years to process, and gets reminders of quite frequently? He's pretty used to dealing with those feelings, isn't he? Wouldn't the chart spell be the much bigger deal to him in this moment?"

Past me: "Huh. You know, I'm not sure. Let's ask Edward himself. Edward?"

Edward: "CHARTS!"

Past me: "Fair enough!"

Images from comic past

I wanted to reuse images from past comics in the first panel. This was for efficiency and directly jogging memories, but I wasn't sure what I was going to use for Adrian Raven. I didn't have any recent images of him just chilling out in something he would normally wear, and the best images I could think of were from the redrawn fight with Abraham.

It then occurred to me that Raven fighting Abraham (and protecting Ellen) was the main thing Tedd knew Adrian for prior to his talk with Pandora, so that actually made perfect sense (aside from Tedd never actually seeing Raven outside of maybe a yearbook photo, but let's ignore that for now).
