I can see a small opening for confusion (in part because Po didn't act on it right away), so I'm going to confirm it: Po is looking right at Hope in panel two, just as the antennae are perceiving her in panel one.
Phantom arm
In case you were wondering what use those small, ineffectual wings were, the phantom arms work on an exchange system. Another limb has to go limp to use one, and those small, ineffectual wings?
