I'm currently plotting to share a novelization of this scene all in one go after it's done, as opposed to having bits of it with each comic page. It's something I want to do, but unless the words-only version is how I'm figuring out a scene, a written version to go with each page's commentary adds too much to production time.
Flying
A while back, I debated with myself as to whether immortals should still be able to float around while invisible. I wasn't sure if that would be too useful an option, particularly with Hope around.
Ultimately, it would be too limiting for immortals in general if they couldn't fly while invisible, and it would ultimately result in everyone knowing about them. That second bit might seem like a bit of a leap, but it's not like immortals were going to stop flying around. They don't use vehicles for travel unless accompanying mortals, and they're used to traversing considerable distances whenever they feel like it on the slightest of whims.
Without the option to fly while invisible, immortals far too used to getting around with flight would start flying around in broad daylight. The masquerade would be over for that simple a reason.
