I assume if this were a TV show, someone on the writing staff (or an executive) would insist that the fate of all past and future realities within all multiverses would depend on figuring out the mirror.

Instead, it might speed up undoing the enchantments a bit, and the stakes are mostly character stuff.

I'll undoubtedly have stakes in some manner of elevated position eventually.
