I don't normally llike doing any sort of cloudy border thing and prefer just using the rounded lighter borders for flashbacks. Between change blindness and past and present involving a Tedd who's dressed only slightly differently with different hair, I wanted to use every weapon in my arsenal to emphasize "this is a flashback and not a Gollum / Smeagol sort of thing".
