The canon EGSNP storyline, Nanase and Her Fox, will be continuing in the meantime on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

While I need to finish planning the whole of the next arc, I know enough about how it begins to get pages done in advance, and intend to do so.

Speaking of the next story arc, it's title will be Hope.

- First glimpse of Ellen's "second life" way back in 2004

- "Other" Ellen learning about uryuoms way back in 2005

- Ellen talking about her "second life" way back in 2006

- Still in the land of 2006, Ellen talks about Archie, a seyunolu (uryuom hybrid, like Grace)

- First mention of greater projections

- Mist making it very clear that they can choose the appearances of their projections

- Notes on the very next page contradicting that

- "Huh. Ellen might like to see this. She's getting back into RPGs" on the NEXT next page

Ninja Foreshadowing

I wanted to foreshadow that Ellen might have information about uryuom projections, but I didn't have any way of bringing up her "second life" without it being a little TOO obvious.

So I stealth foreshadowed by briefly mentioning Ellen.

I have NO idea if that reminded anyone of Ellen's dreams, but it was the best I felt I could do without putting up a big sign that said "Ellen might know something about this."

So, um... If anyone did think of that, enjoy your stealthy cookies. They're... Somewhere. I think. Gonna be honest, if someone's already eaten them, I'd have no idea.

What's going on back there?

Kevin understands very few of Ashley's interests.

I wanted something going on in the background to imply that Ellen was there to hang out with Grace. Grace wasn't part of this conversation, however, so I needed her to be preoccupied with something.

I left her in Ashley's capable hands.
