"No, really," Cinderella insisted. "You could definitely charm them! Go try it for a minute!"

Elliot looked uncertainly toward the ballroom. "Well... If you insist..." The reason he'd first gone out on the balcony having slipped his mind, he went back inside.

Cinderella remained alone on the balcony for several minutes before "Elrick" rushed back outside, his hurried steps barely audible somehow. His eyes were wide, and he looked as though he'd just narrowly escaped the wrath of a disgruntled wildebeest.

Cinderella stared at him. "Uh... How'd it go?"

"I started to say... Something, I forget what, I think it was about floor tiles, and... They all started chasing me." 

"Wow. I didn't think you were that smooth."
