Some readers comment on how Ashley is "too perfect" for Elliot, which is an opinion I have to accept as fair. One of the deliberate things about Ashley and Elliot's relationship is that they have a lot in common in ways that enable each other. In general, they don't so much balance each other out as they amplify each other, which can be fantastic or disastrous depending on the situation.

Granted, balancing can obviously occur. That's just a general approach I have for them that makes that opinion "fair enough" to my mind even if I personally enjoy their dynamic.
