I considered reasons why Arthur would plot and scheme to get Tensaided a job at the school, potentially with the goal of somehow furthering his objective of recruiting Susan.

The more I thought on it, however, there was absolutely no reason for Arthur to want Tensaided as a teacher. Arthur has no idea that Susan is fond of Tensaided, and even if he did know, getting Tensaided a job as an instructor wouldn’t accomplish anything big enough, if anything at all, to make it worth it to Arthur.

So, no. Arthur doesn’t some any grand reason to want to get Tensaided a job.

He just wants someone he has to associate with to briefly bother him less about something.
