I didn't like using narration in panel four, but this is what happens when you don't have an established B story in a storyline, and the scene change is mid-page.

You might find yourself in a situation when you have nothing to cut away to, and just have to throw your hands up and say "this is the thing that is happening now."

Granted, I could've just had the whole page be Susan and Sarah hugging, and then do the scene change on the NEXT page, but that's a lot of hugging! Also, I have to consider what's on the next page.

It's like juggling, except it's nothing like juggling.
