- Steve from four pages ago

I want to get a moment that comes soon in the story right, and I feel like I need a little extra time to do that. The next story page will be Wednesday.

My apologies for the delay, and I hope you'll like the moment I'm plotting.

Sadly, Steve will never be one of the main, regularly-appearing characters.

I know this must be a disappointment to many, but Steve just takes me so long to ink. They'd have to invent a new day of the week before I'd have time to regularly include him, and my letters to various people on the matter have gone unanswered.

Granted, I might be mailing the wrong people. I've sent letters to scientists, politicians, talk show hosts, dieticians, the CEOs of every known beverage company, and none of them have gotten back to me.

You'd think at least one of those people would be in a position to add an eighth day to the week, but so far? Nothing.
