I'm sooo lucky this was today's page.
While there was still time and effort required in creating today's page (one does not simply draw Steve), it was always going to be four panels, and the first three panels were always going to have minimal detail.
This meant the page took less time, and that's good, because the morning of the day I had to make it, something happened in the morning that I had to deal with.
After doing so, I felt physically and mentally exhausted, and I hadn't even done the layout yet. Were this an average page, I would've taken a sick day.
But it wasn't, so hey, Steve! How's it going? You're looking particularly ominous today.
Also, if you saw this coming? Just take the cookie jar.
