This is why you want big monsters that do something right when they enter play, Hope.
I was torn between the succinctness of "destroy target monster that flies", and the issue with Sarah having a card that situational. Against an opponent without flying monsters, that card would LITERALLY be unusable.
Which many readers might not care about, but I'd care, and readers who play card games might care.
Ultimately, I gave her a much more versatile card, and just heavily emphasized "YES! THAT ONE! OBVIOUSLY!"
As for why I didn't give her a "destroy target monster card", it's an internal consistency thing.
For simplicity's sake, the comic's just been saying "X energy" to play cards, but there are energy types with their own pros and cons. The type of energy Sarah's using has limited "destroy monster" options, and this is an example of that.
