Commentary
I've considered reading Discworld. I hear it has a turtle in it.
It is not uncommon for people to assume I've read, seen, played, etc the same things they have. With the exception being things I have made mention of myself, I usually haven't, and this is especially true with book series.
While I am genuinely interested in reading more, there is still the matter of making time for it, and how I generally spend my free time with games more than books these days. Still, there is the matter of the hypothetical turtle...
And for the record, I HAVE read the Hobbit, and tried to read Lord of The Rings. I found myself too bored to get through the latter, which I find a shame, because I'd like to be able to say I've read it. It feels more like an item on a trivial checklist than fun times to me, however, so it's probably not going to happen.
