How the hell that works from a practical standpoint is beyond me. How do they establish metaphors if they speak exclusively IN metaphor? Wouldn't each metaphor have to reference a previous metaphor, resulting in metaphors upon metaphors? Heck, where did the words for the metaphors themselves come from if--
