That last panel wound up being really simple, but I was trying some absurdly complex, "the system can't take it, captain" nonsense with a whole mess of overlapping text at first, and I was having SO much trouble with it.
Given that the whole point was to give the impression of getting rid of all that text, I'm REALLY not sure what I was thinking.
There have been times in the past when I've gotten into the technical details of things not because they were immediately relevant in some way, but because I thought they were neat.
Because of that being a thing I have previously done, I thought people might assume I was doing that again when talking about Susan's fairies.
"Whoops, Dan's off on a technical tangent again! Silly Dan."
It took a lot of willpower to not broadcast "this is extremely immediately relevant, actually!"
There are a few reasons why I decided to give Susan a dedicated spell for doing this, but one was simply so they had a reason to talk about it in time to provide context for this.
