- Pandora Chaos Raven (a page from Sister 3 with all three "default" forms)

I chose that reference for easy visuals, but it might inadvertently imply "Pandora" and "Raven" were separate forms. They were not. There's basically the original Pandora, chaos Pandora, and kid Pandora. All three of those were technically default forms.

The inclusion of a "perpetually morphing nightmare cloud" as a standard state of being might have been a red flag.

Tedd's question

Tedd originally asked if the form he talked to was Pandora's default form, a result of Tedd knowing Pandora had a kid form.

It's something a person might have wondered, but Tedd actually would have taken it for granted that the form Pandora was in when they talked was the default. He only would have been shocked at himself for making such an assumption were someone so bold as to point it out to him.

Not only that, but Tedd wouldn't have felt compelled to ask that question right now anyway.

This put me in a bit of a pickle, because I really wanted to establish that Pandora had three default forms, and it felt like Hope wouldn't volunteer that information unless somehow asked.

(Darn characters actually having conditions for being in-character!)

The question I ultimately went with from Tedd might seem equally out of place, if not more so, but there's a reason Tedd asks: Tedd's genderfluid. This is basically Tedd wanting to know if genderfluid immortals with multiple default forms are a thing, and impulsively asking about it indirectly.

Really, it's for the best that Tedd asked. It would have been in the back of his mind distracting him until he did.
