I enjoy Jay being unreasonably hostile towards Elliot, but only in a limited context. Part of that context at the moment is he's entirely unaware of it.
I wrote more to this commentary, but I realized it was a spoiler! So what I wrote is migrating to the NEXT commentary, and everyone's just going to be stuck spending their weekend trying to figure out why Elliot got hit with a cardboard tube.
Unless you're from the future, in which case you'll know in a matter of seconds.
