I’m really hoping this spell is easier to understand four comics at a time rather than from comic to comic, because people got really confused about what it actually does the first time around.

 

Then again, people were trying to predict things about the spell before all the information was in, and that tends to make things more confusing. I’ve seen plenty of people leaving movies confused when things turned out differently from their early predictions in spite of the movie clarifying everything.

 

Ultimately, I’m not really sure how confusing this spell actually is. “Simulated time stop” doesn’t seem complicated to me, but I grew up watching Star Trek: The Next Generation, so maybe I’m just used to weird time-related things.
